They were 3-2 when he took over so I think he'd need to beat UCLA and have them finish at 10-3. He'd get the job then I think. If they finish 9-4 with a win over UCLA he'll get a shot. A loss to UCLA or less than 9-4 he has no shot.

I think even 9-4 with a loss to UCLA= not shot.

I cannot imagine Orgeron getting hired in any scenario. Boosters would be seeing red if they hired a 10-25 career coach. No way.
