HondaFS (and the Elite Left) 's Delussion
This is fucking great. As is the micro; as is the macro. HondaFS lays to rest any doubt he and the elite liberal media don't get it. He poasted:
The premier, if not central, message of Trump's campaign is based on creating blue collar, working class jobs as a primary generator for the economy. Basically the opposite of trickle down theory.
He was so strong on the point, Elizabeth Warren openly endorsed his ideas and committed to working with Trump on the point.

President-Elect Trump spoke to these issues. Republican elites hated him for it. But he didn’t care. He criticized Wall Street and big money’s dominance in Washington-straight up. He supported a new Glass-Steagall. He spoke of the need to reform our trade deals so they aren’t raw deals for the American people. He said he will not cut Social Security benefits. He talked about the need to address the rising cost of college and about helping working parents struggling with the high cost of child care. He spoke of the urgency of rebuilding our crumbling infrastructure and putting people back to work. He spoke to the very real sense of millions of Americans that their government and their economy has abandoned them. And he promised to rebuild our economy for working people.
So let me be 100% clear about this. When President-Elect Trump wants to take on these issues, when his goal is to increase the economic security of middle class families, then count me in. I will put aside our differences and I will work with him to accomplish that goal. I offer to work as hard as I can and to pull as many people as I can into this effort. If Trump is ready to go on rebuilding economic security for millions of Americans, so am I and so are a lot of other people-Democrats and Republicans.
This is THE issue that won Trump the election. The left still doesn't know they got beat - badly - at their own game.
This is why we laugh at you.
@2001400ex, you are a fucking goat.

You miss the point. Trump wants to cut taxes as a method to create jobs and still reduce the deficit. Here's the history you are missing.
Reagan cut taxes, we had economic growth but tripled the federal debt (Obama only doubled it).
Clinton raised taxes, created more jobs than Reagan, and balanced the budget.
Bush cut taxes, doubled the debt. And we had two recessions start during his term.
Obama raised taxes, the debt doubled buy the deficit is 1/3 of Bush's last budget. We have had over 7 years of consecutive job growth.
It's almost like job growth is irrespective of tax rates.
So here's the issue you fail to understand. Recent conservative policy is to cut taxes, then cut from evil things like education and pensions. Look at Kansas, Wisconsin, etc. for what I'm speaking about.
Yes I am aware he thinks redoing trade agreements and other things will help middle class jobs. I hope he truly wants to help the middle class. Time will tell.
I do appreciate living rent free in your head tho, it's entertaining.
pathetic.
You're still here.

Hondo,
You keep talking about growth. Again, Obama is the first president to ever go a term without a 3% annual gain. He had eight years and still couldn't get it done.

Yes and labor participation. But his unemployment is lower than Reagan's and peaked lower than Reagan's. Blah blah blah.
I like how a lot of you latch on to one statistic that is generally meaningless as an argument. He'll also be the second president to not have a recession started under his watch. What do you want, huge growth then bust? Or steady growth and no bust?
Kind of like not counting food a fuel/energy prices in the cost of living.
Figures never lie but liars figure.
Hopefully Trump will do better a creating jobs. Taxing welfare payments doesn't make much sense or revenue.
Huh.
Skeet skeet skeet is right about U6.
