They have permanently tarnished their reputation with anyone who was paying attention. Obvious and unapologetic bias against Trump. They led the way for the rest of the media and the divisive and dishonest reporting on the election.

Their front page has been an editorial opinion page for at least the past three decades. They have no journalists left, only progressive mouth pieces who believe it's more important to support the cause than be honest and impartial journalists. Christ, the Washington Post had 20 on staff who's mission was to dig up dirt on Trump and Trump alone, and they did so knowing their credibility doesn't matter to their target audience. The soul searching that's going on now has nothing to do with being more honest, instead it has to do with being more persuasive, re-packaging the message.
