Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
For as Horrible as the game was
As someone who has watched nothing but shit football, the environment was awesome tonight. It being packed and loud for a meaningful game in November was spe-shul. This team isn't there yet and they need a new OC but I still feel they have an excellent shot at winning the conference.
Hoping for more of this in the future.

We lost because we beat ourself ...
That's insanely disappointing
Defensively we didn't hold them to FGs on more drives ... although you wouldn't be unhappy at giving up 24 to SSC
Defensively, they couldnt get a pass rush and got carved up in pass game. I'm surprised USC only scored 26.
Much of this defeat was self-inflicted.
Special teams, holy fuck ballz, is the punter. challenging himself by going non dominate foot or what?
We were out-coached first off. We adjusted nothing in the game plan for playing vs better athletes, which was disappointing given I had hoped that was Petersen's specialty.
Both lines were won by SC.
It was sad that receivers got open down field but Browning was off. You can be off vs Cal type talent and get away with it, not vs SC type talent.
However, UW deprived itself of many chances to tighten up the game or take it over by shitty offensive play calling and an utterly predictable, unbalanced attack.
There's no telling that SC wouldn't have scored 30+ and still won by 13 points or more, but witnessing the futility and fragility of the offense being showcased and exposed was disheartening and frustrating as fuck. UW shackled itself with unnecessarily complicated, slow developing shit plays almost as much as SC pressured the QB into hurries and mistakes.
Have we seen one single quick opener or dive play for our RBs all season long? Me either.
