Dilemma: my firstborn is two days overdue

I made a big mistake around this past Valentines Day by getting my wife pregnant. I didn't look at the schedule ahead of time. There's a good chance I'll have to miss the U$C game. If the baby is born a couple of hours before game time should I rush out the hospital so I can make it to the game in time? Or do I just miss the game and suffer the consequences of my horrible planning?

P.S. When the baby is born, I'm going to make a "Welcome the newest member of UW class of 2038" or " Please welcome future class of 2034 Husky recruit!" that everyone around here loves.

My youngest one was due around the time I was supposed to go to Vegas for my buddy's wedding.

I declined at the time in order to do the "right thing" and stick around for his birth ... Should have gone to Vegas. (Don't take this story seriously tho)

This. An epic time with buds can be once in a lifetime type experience. You can always have more kids.

I was born at Swedish Hospital on a Saturday morning in October at 10:08AM. At 11:30AM my dad kissed my mom goodbye and went to Husky Stadium to see UW beat Navy. He passed out "It's a Boy!" cigars.
