That's good stuff. I know baby boy gave up a couple of TD but the reality is his coverage was good. Body is holding up ...the confidence will come back.

Hopefully. This team needs some safeties. Along with one inside linebacker spot is a weak link.
@AtomicDawg me as well man. Good thing is this is an ideal year for Irvin to preserve his eligibility. McDuffie and Gordon are gone after next season most likely. There's a clear path to starting

I still believe in Irvin.
We gotta get some competition going at safety. I re-watched the game last night and Turner was almost actively avoiding contact. He had one of the most pathetic plays I’ve ever seen on the long run before Utah’s 2nd TD. He’s one of the most physically gifted players on the team, but he’s #1 on my shit list right now.
Williams rotated with Cook in the 2nd half and missed two tackles but he was more aggressive than last year.
What he showed against ASU wasn't exactly encouraging but it's good to see him healthy. Hopefully he stays healthy and gets his confidence back over the year and is one of the most improved next season. He has all the natural ability you could ask for.

McDuffie yes, Gordon I don't think so
Not hard to see him absolutely blowing up next year. Would only be a one full season body of work but he's flashed this year in limited time and you know he's going to kill it at the combine. It's not at all out of the realm of possibility.

Gordon is really good. Great athlete and big hitter. He’s starting at nickel or CB next year. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up starting at some point this year.

He wasn’t that bad. He was right there, just didn’t make plays on the ball.
Molden was absolutely horrible when he first played. He even said so himself. Budda was terrible for a few games too. Kyler Gordon got beat out by McDuffie after playing poorly.
I know Irvin isn’t a true freshman but he’s been hurt and is getting his first real playing time. I think he will still be a factor. Next year will be the real test.
