Sample and Dissly sealing the edge with Harris or some other fucking guard pulling. Gaskin shakes one guy for a 10-15 yard gain. Those runs were beautiful.

Sample and Dissly are the most under appreciated players on the team. Dissly is the third best tackle on the roster. Moving him to TE was a great move. He has one catch all year yet I'm excited to see him on the field.

That formation is fucking incredible. I think it was Harris or maybe Shelton pulling. It was textbook. Every Ute was locked up except for a LB or safety and they had no chance at bringing Gaskin down.

Gaskin's spin was filthy and came effortlessly to him. That stuff can't be coached.

When Coleman comes in the power comes and the DB's don't want to tackle a guy that big.

Yeah we talked about that formation on our pod this week funny enough. The last four weeks they've just been MAULING people with it. It's smash mouth football like Stanford plays but we are using massive TEs, not subbing in backup OL.

    It gives me doog boners
Not to get too X's and O's geeky, but why was the outside run so effective in your opinion? Is it because the tackles for UW are the strength of the OL? I'm no expert on TE blocking, but I know Sample and Dissly are very good blockers.

Was it because Utah was stout up front with Star L's little bro? I don't think they stopped a power or outside zone more than once or twice all game. Every other one went from 7-20 yards.

I'm definitely looking forward to rewatching it, it was tough to tell from my seats. I have a hunch a lot has to do with our tackles just down blocking the life out of their DL, those two are really fucking good. Then you add on those two TEs, and we pull guards and centers too, it's a nightmare.

There was one where one of the TE's downblocked a DE, the other hit an ILB and the pulling G/C hit the OLB. Whichever TE sealed off the DE drive him 5-10 horizontally. Just got under his side shoulder pad and guided him out.

We ran to the short side of the field a lot. Which means 1 or 0 receivers on that side. It leaves the TE to smash a DE and seal the edge or go second level opening a lot of green.
