There's one thing about having confidence in your skills and another to be average but talking yourself up ...

Troy's setting himself up in his mind to be better than he is ... that's a recipe for disaster

Sounds like the prototypical Sark recruit. All bark, no bite.

I just don't buy it. If you have all this confidence, you have no need to tell everyone that you have confidence. Just like Sark, false bravado. He said this shit hoping it would motivate him but inside he's scared. If we? lose this game, we? are a weak-minded team. I feel much more confident after reading that article than before it.

First, BP said he was demoted to 4th string. The author then had to edit for accuracy. Except for a kid who supposedly remembers it like it was yesterday, that's kind of an important detail. I would bet my mortgage that he did not get named the starter against ASU with no advanced notice, 3 days after being told he was at the bottom of the depth chart.

This article is just a cry for attention. The fact that he even mentions Petermen not recruiting him in high school tells me that he was looking for an excuse to take his ball and go home so he could say he "wasn't wanted." And for a guy who supposedly feeds off adversity, he sure comes off as a whiny little bitch. If Pete is half the coach I think he is, he's licking his chops right now and his team smells blood in the water.

    OK!

"The breaking point came after he scored his first career touchdown in garbage time during a loss to Oregon in 2014. He was riding high, getting texts from family and friends."

No wonder you didn't last, you fucking loser. You were celebrating a meaningless score in a 45-20 plungering.

Funny thing too is people here used that TD as to why he needs to be the starter and then started the sandy vaginas because of it.

    This board is retarded sometimes.
In defense of this retarded bored, Cyler Miles.

Jeez. He sounds like when Tom Brady cried on tv about being drafted late.

    Worse tragedies in life kid.

Tom Brady is looking for his 5th ring this year.
That's my point. Get over the fucking draft.
    I think he's over it.
Of course he's not over it. The greats excel at taking a slight, even a perceived one, and drawing motivation off that for years. It's a shitty way to live but a great way to compete.

Troy Williams is not one of the greats.
