Pete talked about it before the game as well. Said he wanted to see how the team responded when things weren't going their way. He got his wish, and no doubt that was a confidence builder. The 2001 Miami Hurricanes defeated Boston College 18-7, needing a defensive td in the final minute to put the game away.
Counter point- BC went 8-4 and were ranked (like Oregon State).
