Arizona had a QB that we were concerned could cause problems with his legs ... not the case with Oregon
Arizona also had a 3rd string freshman running back that was running all over us until we broke him, Oregon only has an All American
JJ Taylor was the best recruit in their 2016 class and the best back on their roster. Like Gaskin last year he just needed a little more time to rise to the top of the depth chart.
observations: 1. Oregon is a rich man's Arizona 2. tons of team speed 3. our DL edge will be tested all game, their misdirection will keep our pass rush on its heals 4. DBs got hit with 3-4 ticky tack PIs 5. with any QB play they'd be as dangerous as always 6. if they've given up on the year, we win fairly easily. If they're circling the windowless vans we will be in for a tough game.
I would expect Oregon's maximum quook effort, this will make or break the year for both teams and everyone knows it.
life changing analusis i know, fuck me for my service
How in the fuck was the pass at 1:30 ruled a completion...Videos like this are a good reminder of what a clusterfuck Cfball was before replay (as much shit as we give replay sometimes...It's better than having that shit)

Herbert isn't as quick as Dawkins but he can move. More dangerous threat with his legs than Prukop was.
I think the Ducks' best move on offense would be to spread the field as much as possible and go as fast as possible. That willl keep the reads simple for Herbert and keep as many defenders out of the box as possible.
If they come out in 10 personnel and spread the field, primarily in a 2x2 look, that will keep things simple for Herbert. IZR and OZR with Freeman against a five or six man box is probably the best thing they have going for them.
The local media seems to think UW has all the pressure on this game and will come out tight and Oregon will let it rip. This is the first year I can ever remember that Oregon is actually talking about the streak. Chip never mentioned it, because he didn't care. These guys are so worried about being the team that loses it, I think they are going to be a trainwreck.

This strategy worked great for the Cuogs in the early Leach years for Tuel and Halliday... other than the sacks and pick 6's it was quite effective
