What worries me...

mobeymobey Member Posts: 3,254
Is that I'm not worried.

At the risk of jinxing it, we are simply better.

Finally better talent
Finally better coaching

I expect this to be comfortable.

And that worries me.

    I agree.

I also worry that this team might think beating Stanford so badly means everyone else will roll over for them. I hope the Arizona game was a lesson for them.

I suspect Pete will use Az as a lesson. I do like that he cut off player interviews.

I also hope the players hate Whoregon.

    I want a blood bath.

I feel the same about this game that I did about Arizona. Not worried, should be a touchdown better than them. If not then so be it.

If the game was in Husky stadium, I'd give you guys the edge.

But you haven't proven yet that you can beat a good team on the road. I'm not saying Oregon is good this year, but they will be fucking amped up to kick your ass. Can you stop the zone spread option yet?

You should be worried. If you're not you haven't seen much college football.

    YHTET?

    Fuck you.

Seriously, how did we suddenly get such superior talent in 1 year? Their loss of vernon adams or that big DE is counterbalanced by this being a home game for them. Plus our edge players this year (wooching and Mathis) do not have the speed to combat the spread that our edge players (Feeney and Littleton) had last year year.

And they still have freeman and carrington.

A spread team that has struggled in a few games but is playing at home. I smell arizona...but worse.

So fuck you, and fuck me, and fuck everyone (cue the mike leach video).
    Open your eyes.

It takes three years for a coach to get his style going, despite many thing Peterman should have won a Natty by now.

We were good last year, never got blown out, with freshman and sophomores everywhere.

    We till have 60+.

It wasn't 'in one year', just your acknowledgement or acceptance.

    Fucking this.

When EVERYONE thinks it's a lock, it's wise to wager the other direction.
If you're following everybody else's opinion I tend to agree ...

If it is something that you follow closely and you've come to that conclusion with your own eyes, then there's something to be said for that.

The better team has won this game the last 12 years, usually rather easily. I don't see that changing this year.

Bob Stoops won a national championship in year 2.
