The GOAT just game planned the hell out of this game. This had very little to do with NE's system and everything to do with NE's coaches willingness to abandon their system to work with that they have.
My point is that if Brissett had to come in as 3rd string QB for any other team in the league, he wouldn't have played as well. I'm not saying he did play well, but well enough to succeed in winning the game. Am I changing my argument a bit? Sure. But, that's how you win in this day and age.

None of this means almost any QB could succeed there. It means NE is damn good at scouting and incredibly good at developing, but historically good at game planning.
Their coaching might be better than anyone's in any sport.
