Welcome to the Hardcore Husky Forums. Folks who are well-known in Cyberland and not that dumb.
I love the 1's on coverage and I'm surprised more teams don't do this. I would think guys would kill to have ST film as that can really help you make an NFL roster.

If you have one stud who is just too hard of a hitter to leave off (like Kam on the Hawks), then fine
Right now, we have our 1s on STs and they are head hunting and busting the fuck out of people (from shitty teams). Still, in principle, making good teams get an extra set of downs can be a crucial difference between 0 and 3 and 3 and 7 points.
Fuck it. We need to win. Put 'em out there.
We ain't running no NFL training camp, so fuck their film. And quite frankly I give zero fucks if any of these guys play a single snap in the pros.
Win at Washington. Nothing else matters.
"He's a 6'1" 220lb safety from sugerland fucking texas, he's going to skullfuck everyone"
By the way fuck that game. How have we never beaten them?
Don James said that there were three phases to the game and if you win two of them you usually win the game. In the early years Special Teams were YUGE for our DAWGS. Won many a game with defense, special teams, and a fucked up offense.
Uban Meyer puts his special teams ahead of all other players and gives them special honors.
Many experts like myself say that if you want to judge a coach, look at the special teams.
and this youtube is how the movie Rudy should have ended, right @Dennis_DeYoung?
Combining with what Dennis said, maintaining field position through coverage, gaining through the explosiveness of the return game, or creating a field switching turnover all can be contributing factors to winning a close game.
There's a lot with this team to be optimistic about in the number of ways that they can beat you. Special teams is definitely high on the list.
