The best part of the starters playing special teams is Qualls being the center wedge guy on kickoffs. Eventually he's gonna behead some walk-on special teamer when he's out there blocking.

-10 yards on a KOR is a huge play, particularly with our defense. Making teams get an extra set of downs reduces their chances of scoring a TD in an important way. Any play where there can be a 25 yard swing is tremendously important, obviously.
Right now, we have our 1s on STs and they are head hunting and busting the fuck out of people (from shitty teams). Still, in principle, making good teams get an extra set of downs can be a crucial difference between 0 and 3 and 3 and 7 points.
Fuck it. We need to win. Put 'em out there. -
