I'm going to move my service underground (mast is bent in half on the house from before I bought it, and we are re-roofing, so I'm taking the opportunity to run everything underground and pull the mast.)
The 43 year old pan on the house isn't transferable to UG services per the PoCo Engineer that stopped by ( he cited too little fill space for their modern install requirements, and no UG knockouts) and they want it replaced. The price difference wasn't enough to sway me conduit wise, so I went ahead and had approved a 3" run to the house from the pole.
Power company here supplies the underground feed for the service you decide to take. With me having to replace the pan and already having the right size conduit in the ground, I'm tempted to go ahead and have them run a 320 amp service (I'm 100% full on a 40 space panel so I need a sub panel as is).
My question for you: If I don't replace the service feed to the existing panel, reusing it and the existing conduit in wall with no modification to feed into the old panel, will it trip an inspection on the old panel and require it to be brought to current code, or should I only have to worry about passing a current code inspection on the 2nd new panel coming off the new meter pan outside? I'm asking to be honest for the sake of not having to AFCI up the whole house to do all this mess.
The first two scrimmages don't reveal much IMO, but I would like @MikeMonan 's take on the O-Line, pass protection, run blocking, examples of guys who seem to be getting better, etc.
I blacked out in E1 before the game and left at halftime to spend the second half on a boat. I don't remember any of the game prior to the boat. Is this acceptable because Idaho or am I no better than fans that show up for the Instagram selfie and spend the rest of the game in the zone?
Serious question which sort of parrots other questions: will the run game improve? Are they holding back plays and schemes possibly because these teams suck and they don't want Pac 12 teams to have tape to scheme?
Have you or Mike been to any of the games in person yet? Or have you watched them all on TV?
Even with all the Jen Cohen's talk about ticket sales and closing the Zone down early I've seen *zero* change in the game day experience...but maybe being in the nose-bleed section with the rest of unwashed masses I don't have the best vantage point. I know I'm being unfair to expect much since this is the preseason and school isn't in session, but that has nothing to do with the fact that our "Crazy Larry" marketing team is still trotting out the same tired tricks.
I'm sure it will be very different come the Stanford game (hopefully).
Edited: Clarifying my question - first draft probably came off wrong/harsh.

I'll take this one.
You're a fag for going to scrimmages and for expecting Jen to make anything better.

is fivethat Azeem single-handedly ends McCaffery's Heisman campaign?Thoughts on OL? Are we right to freak out over the lack of push in the running game? What about pass protection?
When can @CokeGreaterThanPepsi and I get pizza with Mike?
