State schools continue to raise costs, knowing the federal government will provide the funding.

It's state government that is reducing higher education funding. Costs are increasing for students at a higher rate than overall costs (tax funding + tuition).

Regardelss, for-profit schools have a student loan default rate over five times higher than state schools.

You have to be a moron to think these schools provide any value, Trump University included.

I would also argue that the students paying $50k annually for some of these private liberal arts colleges are as equally retarded.
