Is that the UW way to be leaders on issues like this?ThomasFremont said:
According to TequillaFS, UW doesn't want to lead the way on such a controversial issue.Meek said:

FUCK UW, GET YOUR SHIT TOGETHER, OR PUT SVEN IN CHARGE.
The UW upper campus (and Seattle in general) is full of passive aggressive sorts that would rather be reactive than proactive.
I'd be shocked if beer sales aren't allowed in general seating by the 2017 or 2018 season as more and more programs openly offer it with limited problems. However, also don't be surprised if there are problems in Pullman that that delays it coming here.
The perception is that beer sales will bring unwarranted trouble that could be avoided.
The reality is that it will likely minimize binge drinking, keep fans in the stadium, and add much needed $$$ to the bottom line of the AD.
I have full confidence that the BOR and upper campus will make this a way bigger issue than it needs to be.

Because the people in charge at UW are not as wise and intelligent in the ways of beer profits as I am.Tequilla said:

I am setting up a blue ribbon panel to study this issue. It will take 3 years and cost roughly 300K, but we will find an answer!
