Racism is rounding them up and putting them on reservations. Racism isn't name calling, it's oppression. Racism is giving them tax-exempt status and free money to make up for something that happened years ago. Racism is assuming that whites are the only people who would kill you for your land, while ignoring the fact that the natives killed each other all the time, as well as whoever was here before them.

So, with 50% of the people I meet, when they find out I am the red man, they immediately say they are 1/2000th Choctaw or Navajo and some shit they made up on the spot. It is almost reflexive for idiots to say they are something they aren't. I used to let it go, but now I always ask them if they have a tribal card (most tribes actually give you an ID card when you get enrolled). Nobody ever says yes. But whatever.
