According the the USC Scout guys, Brandon Huffman now believes that Henry Bainivalu is headed elsewhere. Anybody paying Doogman to verify this? They start talking about it at around the 35:23 mark.

I don't know what is going on with our OL targets this year but I liked the classes Strausser and CP signed the last two years so I'll remain positive for now. -

That hasn't happended yet. Strausser's only major whiff so far was Eletise last year. He's gotten Adams, Roberts, McGary, and Wattenberg. All those guys had offers from everywhere on the west coast. UW will be there in the end for Sarrell, Wyatt, Henry, Vera-Tucker, and a few other studs. His seat gets warm if they miss on all those guys and get Taylor Hindy, Corey Fuvai, and Nathan Dean.Passion said:OLs starting to pick their schools. Gerald Martinez USC Scout Guy says USC is focusing in on Offensive Lineman unlike Sark LOL! Says they are keying on guys like Alijah Vera-Tucker and Henry Bainivalu. Bainivalu was favored to go to UW, but Brandon Huffman believes Bainivalu is destined for out of state school now. But this is coming from two guys who kept on referering to Chase Garbers as Chase GABBERS the entire podcast. -

Only interested because everyone has been proclaiming that Henry Bainivalu was a lock to UW. Especially the Dawgman guys and Brandon Huffman who kept referencing his family wanting him close. 2. When they inevitably go elsewhere just reach into our pre-stocked grabbag of excuses. Feel free to use multiple excuses for the same recruit:
-You were right before you were wrong, things change out here.
-Blame your customers for being overly involved in the product you sell
-Distance- works either way. In-state kid? Just wanted to leave. Out of state? Parents won't travel.
-Blame the kid for being an idiot.
-Local school didn't really want him anyway
-As an "expert" you have secret info that you can't disclose (consider getting a "chat" in which you can shamelessly make stuff up)

Well they did have the possibility of pulling a top 5 class at the time, so technically they weren't wrong; at the time. There are a lot of ups and downs in the recruiting game. In related news, Michigan just picked up their 4th (possibly 5th) OLine commit for this class. Henry may be off Michigan's radar at this point even if he wanted to check them out.
