There isn't a nation/group of people on this planet that hasn't done something fucked up to somebody (granted, some more than others), especially in times of war. I'm not saying that any of those things were OK, but wouldn't it be better to make speeches/policies that are more geared towards making sure shit doesn't happen again instead of everybody making these hollow apologies?
The left loves to play the moral equivalency card with regards to Iraq or Palestine, and it's largely bullshit; turning it around when it suits "us" is just as stupid.
