I don't diminish all the optimism now. THe defense is good, Gaskin is a stud, and Browning "could" be good. I question whether we top out at 8 or 9 wins or win the conference.
IMO the smart money is on 8 or 9 wins and staying at a level of mediocre. Upper mediocre, but still mediocre. The offensive coaching sucks and the program still looks pussified.
And kellen moore had an established program challeging for the rose bowl every single year, seasoned deppth protecting him ....anymore meaningless comparisons? Hopefully the oline stays healthy, as the depth isnt similar. Bellotti recruited 4-5 olinemen most every year
