Part of the agreement to move the team was that the name, logos, and records etc stayed in Seattle.
But Shultz let the Thunder keep the World Championship
This makes it unclear:
"According to the terms detailed in the settlement agreement, items associated with the SuperSonics' history in Seattle, including trophies, banners, and retired jerseys, stayed in the city and were placed in the Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI)." (Wiki)
"That team will be allowed to use the SuperSonics' statistical history, although a future Seattle NBA franchise could also stake a claim to share those records." (ESPN)
Football title >>> any other big 4 title. If Seattle got rid of the Mariners and consolidated everything into football, rather than chasing the Sonic dream, the city would be better for it.
Now that I don't live in Seattle, I hardly care about the Sonics. I even kind of enjoy Softy and his types who cry every year about it.
I still care, but much less so than I did in 2008 when I was two years removed from Suckattle.
Seattle was already really faggy and filling up with trust fund 25 yr olds, tech nerds, fat pasty white fucks, and douchebags from the Midwest with MBA's by the early 2000s.
I hope the area gets a team back but in a place like Bellevue.

He ought to concentrate on throwing interceptions at the 1-yard line.
