Israel is the only democracy in the Middle East and our only true friend. All they've ever done is defend themselves from countries who are bent on their all-out destruction. I have mixed feelings about Obama leaving office because it's likely whoever gets in there will be even worse but I doubt they'll be as anti-Israel as Barack.

The sooner you realize that Israel pursues their own interests regardless whether they align with the wellbeing of the US the better.

Just because they're an ally doesn't mean we should look the other way at the horrible shit they do. Especially since we're funding it.
