Is this the first big time WR we have gotten under Peterman? If so, I must say I am mildly impressed that Hamdan, who looks likes an ISIS fluffer, could do it.
Which I think says a lot more about Brent fucking Peezy than anything. In 3 full classes under Petermen and Peezy, Lake has signed like 20 stud DBs, and we've gotten a highly rated player at every position except for WR, where as many as 5 are on the field at the same time. To the extent that they'll no doubt move some of Lake's studs on offense.
But I just don't think I can fathom how fucking terrible Peezy must be. The production on the field was bad. Every top WR dropped us to the point we're taking guys like Chincredible and Andrea Bocelli, who's known more for his opera singing. Then a couple months after he gets shitcanned, his frumpy middle-eastern replacement uses all his burner phones to pull in a top 100 player nationally who just happens to play wide receiver. And the kid didn't even have to wait to see if he was gonna get the UTEP offer he was coveting. Something's fishy.
The fishy was that Pease was as bad as we thought he was ...
What I still can't figure out is what Pete was really thinking with him in the program unless he was counting on Pease's being the hard ass that the program needed to scare the shit out of some guys to fit through the culture shift and crossed his fingers that he wouldn't be as bad as he was.
That guy was a fucking lost cause. I remember reading an interview of him when he was committed here and they asked him if he watched the last Husky game. Don't remember the score but I know it was double digits. And Boyles said yeah it was hard to watch but if I was playing UW would've won. I mean it's good to be confident, but no WR is worth 10+ points on their own. It's another thing to just be cocky. If you can't back it up you look like an idiot. And then there's Anthony Boyles, who was/is borderline delusional. He barely saw the field playing for the worst team in the Big Sky.

Can't wait for the unfair expectations to force us to think he sucks in 18 months
