You have this thread dialed INTurdBuffer said:What I'm saying, TF, is that with everything being the same, even next year's team is likely to under-achieve. And the year after, when those two one-and-dones head off to the NBA too. Once again, the problem is the program, not the players. I'm not going to break rocks again to explain the difference to you guys who say "blaming one-and-dones is wrong," blah, blah, blah. Nobody is blaming the one-and-dones for harming the program. Rather, their absence the following year requires a reset, a hole to fill on the roster, and prevents the program from reaching fruition. The blame goes to the coaches who recruit one-and-dones when they need to build the program. Once it's built, and winning, bring on the one-and-dones for a deep tourney run. Until then, they contribute one year at a time, and it's back to square one. With this year's highly ranked one-and-dones, UW didn't even come close. Maybe next year they squeak in. But after 30 games UW still played like shit in the crunch, so I have no reason to hope next year's team will be much different, even if it's better than this years. Same problems. Same shit. And I am happy to be proven wrong.

While I'm glad that someone in the AD has started to pay recruits (because why else would these guys be coming here), is there enough post play to offset the loss of Chriss?
