I'm guessing today they will say it's all Trump's fault............
MSN already interviewed someone who tried to hint that Trump was responsible. Something about political rhetoric encourages Muslims to blow themselves the fuck up.
Instead, we should hand out kababs, keep them in our prayers, and if you're a female or young male, bend over.

Did you actually read the Times article? It wasn't an editorial, it simply reported on what Trump said, and the reacting comments from those in Belgium.

It was simply reported. Free of all slant and bias.
edit; the article is a parade of Belgians calling Trump a dildo for him commenting on the the condition of the city... The city that was just bombed by radical islamists. They couldn't find one person in that city that agreed with his point to get a comment from?

The very first paragraph in the picture you posted is a quote from the French writer pointing out just what a cesspool that one neighborhood in Brussels has become because of all the Muslim immigrants that live there.

I suppose that one paragraph out of umpteen satisfies presentation of a counter argument.
I think the bigger picture here is Trump was calling it ...
People are freaking out that he is saying shit. But the reality is he is saying what people in the know are advising him on.
Read this morning that many in government have been complaining for years about NATO, but nobody would stand up and say anything. Trump comes out and says it.
The dude gets it ... you may not like being told what reality is ... but it is what it is and he tells you what it is.

But our refugee program is awesome.
Not a falsified certificate in sight, folks. Incredible! Don't you love our refugees? Let's hear it for our refugees. Not an ISIS supporter among them.
You're just not going to be able to find a Belgian of stature willing to go on record agreeing that all of Brussels is a "hellhole." Is there an American that would have agreed with that statement about New York after 9/11?
His shit about no go zones is stupid too. Molenbeek has some nice areas, but isn't too unlike a sketchy neighborhood in any large US city. Great hummus there and only a few blocks from a square filled with a couple of my favorite restaurants. They don't blow up their neighborhoods, so you're really only in danger of getting robbed. The difference with the US is that in Compton or Overtown there aren't a subset of immigrants that want to blow shit up and murder everyone in the nice parts of town, they just want to sell drugs and rob you. Europe hasn't taken the threat as seriously as they should, and this won't change anything.
Trump absolutely has a point about NATO and our European "allies." They talked a big game after Paris but haven't done shit in Libya or Syria. It isn't too different from what Obama just said about our Middle Eastern friends a few weeks ago. We're subsidizing the security of half of the world and don't get anything in return.
Luckily everyone I work with is ok and they didn't hit my neighborhood (I live in Brussels and am in the process of rotating back to the US).

Trump definitely should have chosen a better word or phrase than "hellhole". And you're exactly right, no Belgian is going to agree with that.
He is definitely unpolished with his rhetoric, but the underlying message is truthful
I'll meet you halfway on that. There are parts that I agree with and I can get to rhetoric that I agree with (rocking the boat in a good way).
The problem that I have is that I have to polish all of his verbal turds in my attempt to find that diamond. I'm pretty sure they don't all have diamonds in them.

You're right, I didn't actually read it. I read the headline and made an assumption.
That article was very impartial.
My bad

To be fair, it was just stating the reactions of actual Brussels residents
It's a newspaper not a Comedy Central Roast
There is obviously a bias in that they only gave quotes from those who disagreed with what he had to say.
But the newspaper doesn't take a stance either way or explicitly endorse a viewpoint. Could they have found quotes agreeing with Trump? Maybe
