Approval ratings for congress is at an all-time low. People are sick of the mess, and want somebody that doesn't have the ties of the establishments. Although Bernie is an active member of congress, nobody considers him part of the democratic establishment.

Trump doesn't want to fuck around by sending a hundred soldiers here and then a hundred there. He wants to send the entire military in and end it quickly.
