Panthers, like the Patriots, had a GOOD defense. Denver had a GREAT defense.

Strong assist goes to Hawks in SuperBowl 48. After that ass kicking by our defense, John Elway next day stood in front of media and basically said "we have to get a defense like that, otherwise it won't matter how good of a offense we have during the regular season". Credit to him as two years later they did it.
Good to see that in a sport where the rules have been slanted to the offense and esp. in college football (where the game has become first team to 40 wins), that in the end defense (still) wins championships. -

I'm surprised Gary Kubiak won a Superbowl. He's an offensive guy and his offense was pure shit all season. Having an all-time defense gets shit done.
