I've done a factor analysis on Sark's OL recruits and they separate neatly into three categories: "Injured", "Worthless" and "Both Injured and Worthless".
Injured: Colin Porter Ben Riva
Worthless: James "Top 5" Atoe Taylor "He's also a LONG SNAPPER!!!" Hindy Nathan Dean Mike Criste Micah Hatchie Colin Tanigawa Sifa Tufunga Shane Brostek Jake Eldrenkamp Andrew Kirkland Coleman Shelton Cory Fuavai
Both Injured and Worthless: Erik Kohler Dexter Charles Dane Crane

Crisped. But of course, I'm sure it's just the fact that he was plagued with injury and we never got to see his full potential. While next year Garnett will be a starting guard in the NFL.
I'm still pissed about Porter. He could of been great.
Cozzetto/Sark really fucked him and Kohler over. Kohler never fully recovered from the injuries he sustained in his freshman year and faded into a nothing backup, and Porter had an NFL future before his shoulder gave out for good.
Tanigawa, Riva, Kohler, Porter, and Charles all had promising futures ruined by injuries, while the rest of them just never developed into anything worth a shit (or were never shit to begin with; i.e. Fuavai, Dean, Hindy, Atoe, etc.). The offensive line is the single largest reason we underachieved during the Sark era.
Hatchie took NFL snaps this year. I wouldn't say he was a good college player, but he wasn't worthless. Things could have been a lot worse if he wasn't LT.
It was a damn shame about Porter and Riva. Both had NFL potential.
I thought Dex Charles was pretty good when he first started but each injury led to declining play before he had to hang them up. So definitely not worthless until injuries started hitting.
As for Crane, I think it's FS to start playing football at 6. A little unorganized tackle football in grade school doesn't usually hurt anyone too badly but I don't really see a reason to do anything other than flag-football until 8th or 9th grade.
Having a couple decent plays here and there is a lot different than being worth something. If you didn't make All Pac-12 at some point in your career: YOU'RE FUCKING WORTHLESS.
This is WASHINGTON you shits.
This isn't fucking Oregon State where starting for a while ON A TEAM THAT NEVER PLAYED IN A ROSE BOWL and having a cup of coffee in the NFL is a fucking victory.
All Pac-12 or GTFO.
Fucking Doog pieces of shit lowered standards bullshit. FMFYFE.
