Strangely he visited Stanford last weekend and he was accepted academically. So I guess it wasn't a situation of Stanford not wanting him.

No. The opposite. I think Stanford cooled on him, UW looked at him and weren't sold either. Other than Stanford, his offers weren't that great. He's something like 6'2" 330 lbs. or so. With that frame, I don't know how quickly he can move at the guard position, pulling and whatnot.

That is what I figured but then why did he visit Stanford this weekend and from his perspective in the report was still being recruited heavily by them?
