I have a feeling that a lot of murder trials are merely fixed by inept police detectives, who find someone that fits the bill, then they just plant evidence -> case closed. I've been watching 48 Hour episodes on Netflix before they get taken off in a few days...a lot of these police detectives on the show are idiots, especially in how they question the suspects and get them to go quiet and lawyer-up so quickly. Have to do soft, good cop to get as many details as possible first, then bad cop comes in to use those details against them and accuse them of a serious crime to scare them.
Netflix is spending $300 million just for the Daredevil and Jessica Jones etc. series. Seems like they're coming out with a new series every 2 weeks now. They're going to put the TV stations out of business soon.
Incredible 10 Hrs of TV.....this country is in a tail spin in so many ways.
Except that documentary left out a ton of fucking facts about the case
And people have been saying the same fucking thing for 200 years
And yet here we are, Little Jimmy
The stuff the doc left out isn't nearly as damning as the case that evidence was planted/ tampered with. There are really only two pieces of evidence that people are focusing on: 1) Avery's blood was found on the hood latch of the Rav 4. The argument was that the police wouldn't think to plant blood there. 2) Avery purchased restraints similar to the one's from the special ed kid's story he kept changing. Avery claimed he bought them for sexy time with his old lady
I watched the first week it was out. I am ambivalent on whether Avery did the deed. I'm not convinced his is innocent but there does appear to be reasonable doubt as to guilt. I am absolutely convinced the cops fucked with the Avery family.
Dassey's confessions were clearly coerced and should have been withheld from the jury. The fact that his attorney was complicit in manufacturing a confession is unethical and that's the guy who should get his ass reemed criminally. Dassey should be a free man and, worst case, get a new trial.
The one I think did it was Dassey's brother. He was too crisp with times and recollections. He had the same access to the trailer as Brandon did.

There are some hot bitches on Jessica Jones. Jessica Jones enjoys the black Dick. They should show Jessica Jones fully nude. She likes to drop her pants but never takes off her top.
What's most damning in the series is how nonchalant people are mishandling the case. From the kratz presser to dasseys own lawyer trying to fuck him over.
Is it better than Narcos? Need something to hold me over until House of Cards and GOT
Making A Murder is a true documentary. Can't be compared to HOC and GOT. But for me it definitely elicited more of an emotional response given the misdeeds of the justice system. There were several episodes where I was shaking and vomiting.

I just finished Narcos (didn't know I'd have to do so much reading). Is that going to be a series? I thought it was just 10 episodes. They can't leave it there can they. I like a tidy ending.
Manitowoc Co was potentially on the hook for tens of millions IMO. If that's not motive for tampering, what is? It's relatively small (80,000 or so). They couldn't absorb a huge hit.

Yes -Season 2 is forthcoming. It's when Pablo and the boys kick it up and the armies really go at it.

That's what insurance is for.
apparently the insurance didn't apply in this situation, and it was a $36M lawsuit

I plan to watch it...I haven't watched it yet, but this seems like a good summary:
