Official now, good hire for duoks. This guy is better at putting together an offense than anyone on Oregon's staff. But is not a good recruiter and doesn't handle lots of pressure well. I think a qb coach is his ideal job, and being an offensive puppet master.
In all seriousness he gets good reviews and turned Gabe Marks into a player. Don't care if he's a tool, I care about the results he got with the Mizzou offense (pretty good ones) and the Wazzu offense (also pretty good ones).

He can hang out with this guy anytime
I'm not sure how included he was in game planning. I would imagine a decent amount, but his job was inside receivers. So River Cracraft, Robert Lewis etc. The majority of WSUs slot players have been very prolific, just not individual talents.
But he seems to be better at developing qbs, which is why I think the Oregon situation is perfect for him.

Marks was a player his freshman year before He showed up.
Why can't Oregon get anyone beyond the NW to come coach?
I'm guessing it's because they know the staff will door.ass.out come this time in '17???

Brad Smith, Chase Daniel, and Blaine Gabbert. Yeah, terrible recruiter.
A UW win over Oregon is just getting farther and farther away.

At WSU he never spoke to media, and rarely did much ace recruiting . Maybe he will be much better at Oregon, then again he probably won't have to try hard anyway to get top prospects.

He retired three years ago because he was burned out (at age 42!)
If you think you're getting the coach who recruited Chase Daniel 12 years ago you are sorely mistaken.
