I don't get it. He is saying that he expected 6 or 7 wins, anything less than that would have been bad and that 8 or 9 would have been very good this past year.

Am I missing something?
I mostly just wanted a reason to point out that @Tequilla would be satisfied with 6 wins and has always been @Auburndawg 's dance partner in the off season expectations merry go round
I dont need your sugar free coke logic in here, fuck off

And your preseason expectation was?
please review this post if you are curious about my predictions when I make them. I have made my expectations well known.
I never knew how much of a doog I guess I am, but I told my buddies two dads that I thought this team should win at least 7 or 8. That was mainly in response to the inordinate amount of 4 win over and under BS that was coming out before the season. I thought that was ridiculous (rediculous, internet edit) and if Pete could only win 4 or 5, then he needed to be set on fire at the 50. Was told numerous times by anyone who is not on this bored, that was really unrealistic after the amount of losses that the team took from last year. I kept reminding people that for decades, it was really fucking hard to lose more than 6 games. Pete did the absolute minimum this year, no more, no less. Pissed away the ASU game. Didn't give them much of a chance to win the oregon game. Not fireable, but not worth a parade. Yes, I'm saying next year should be special. Never said it for Sark, definitely never said it for tyrone or gilby. I'm gonna doog for Cobra's highlight video, and I'm gonna call Gaskin a better Sankey with an outside chance to be the next Kaufman. I'm gonna chub for another Victor and I'm gonna #offseasonnatty one more time.
I know you guys are being sarcastic 2016 is a rebuilding year. We can'texpect to win 10 games with a returning quarterback that had the fifth best season in University of Washington history. a RB that went for 1300 yards......and experienced defense.
