When are people going to realize the Big10 is a basketball conference? The blacks don't like cold so they stay inside in the north and hoop. The slow fat white guys in the Midwest play football.
Big 10 is not trash. The division Iowa is in is trash though. That other division is TUFF.
The Big 10 has 1.5 ~ 2 very good teams just like every league every year.
Same boring shit threads day after day, year after year.
Usually true, but the #2 team from the SEC just got boatraced by the #4 team in the B1G. Is it a very good B1G or a really shitty SEC?
And therein lies the fallacy of conference "championship" games. They very rarely feature the top two teams in any given conference. Florida wasn't close to the #2 team in the SEC.
So you're saying they should do away with divisions and just go off straight records?

If there was round robin play, that would not be a bad way to go (base on conference record with logical tie breakers). The problem with the current conference "championship" model is that it's nearly impossible to balance the divisions in a way that pairs #1 and #2 in the conference title game. Most seasons, the power tends to be bunched up in one division.
Knee jerk reactions. We all do it, myself included. Picking sides and arguing is what makes a message board. Sometimes pretty good teams get blown out. Sometimes average teams beat really good teams. Some teams play their best early in the year and some play their best late in the year.
Florida won some big games this season, but by the last few games of the season, I doubt they could beat UW on a neutral field.
Michigan beat Florida worse than any SEC team did, but were the third best team in the Big 10. Michigan State was a good team that played their worst game against their toughest opponent. Ohio State kind of struggled, but anyone who watches football knows they were capable of winning a title, provided they got in. The Big 10 has some good teams and is a good conference. The Pac 12 is a good conference. The SEC is looking like the best again this year, despite having a shit team like Florida represent it in the conference title game.

SEC had one really good team this year. Even they have been owned by Ole Miss lately.
Michigan State likely won't make another playoff in the next 50 years and certainly will never win one.
Ohio State being lackluster most of the season helped pull Michigan State and Iowa up in the eyes of the experts. Both were exposed in their bowls.
