I had been recorded a few times before I ever had lessons. Got lessons specifically to learn jazz so I could play jazz band my senior year in HS. We we're the featured band on KPLU's school of jazz CD that year. I haven't played since college, but I found a jam band to play with for fun. Thinking about picking up a new kit so I can master the Moeller technique. My one weakness is I'm not terribly fast. Fast enough, but not Buddy Rich fast.

And no, I'd never aspire to be like Peart. Guy is a fucking robot with no style. Highly overrated. HTH.
