This has some truth to it. 90% of the problem kids have problem parents. Either the parents are divorced and actively use their child as a tool against each other; the parents are druggies and the kid is wigged out mentality from day one; Mom and Dad both work and work hard, butt pay no attention to their child and provide no consequences or support; Mom or dad or both are physically abusive; Or Mom and Dad felt their parents were too hard on them, so instead of being their parent, they become their child's best friend and make as many excuses for them as possible.
