Why are you continuing to politicize this Islamic Jihad attack in California into gun confiscation, hondo?

I've never quite understood why rank-n-file pruogressives dislike the 2nd Amendment and individual rights to defense, sport, etc. I know why their mandarins do.
The same folks protesting police will also say individuals don't need means for self defense because the police will take care of them.

But who will take care of them when it is the police doing the shooting?

Or are you calling for open season on cops so individuals can protect themselves, from the cops?

If so I'm in, love me some Grand Theft Auto rampages, boiiii!!!

So, I'm watching the news the other night and that stupid cunt Andrea Mitchell is going on and on about the need for background checks. Hey, Andrea, there already ARE background checks, especially in California where the shootings took place. I've bought several guns in Oregon and I'm sure the system in Cali is similar - you fill out an extensive set of forms, the seller fingerprints you, and all that info is sent off to the state police for verification. In both my purchases it took about 2 hours to get the approval back from the state. I wouldn't be surprised if the process in California took much longer.

The hue and cry about the need for "background checks" is coming from people who are either uninformed, intentionally or otherwise, OR are committed to spread misinformation to the public. It's probably the latter. That's certainly the case with Obama, who would rather focus on gun ownership than see the danger of worldwide terrorism.

Calling the private and legal transfer of goods between two citizens a loophole says a lot about your stance on personal freedoms

I think we should close the free speech loophole that allows a anonymous people to spew ignorant, hateful or false speech and rhetoric all over the Internet.

People should have to properly identify themselves before posting so we can store who says what. We won't impede on your freedoms though.

Secondly we should ban this horrible free exchange of rhetoric on unregulated non governmental message boards. We aren't going to take away ALL of your free speech, just put some common sense laws in place to protect our children.
