If UW wins less than 10 games next year, is there reason to be concerned with Petersen?

10 wins - not overly concerned. 8 wins or less, then yes, not enough improvement for the amount of young talent we saw out there this year. That being said, I will still REALLY like to see 10+ wins.

In the opinion of any former OL present, how much did our OL improve over the year? How good will they be next year?

Significant improvement throughout the year. With a very young, patchwork OLine that struggled to not only find the right 5 to put out there but keeping them healthy...a 1,000 yard rusher is a good starting point and barometer on where they finished. Browning also went from running for his life all the time to having more time in the pocket to work. Even with an average OLine, the amount of time those guys get to play as a unit is gold. I think you will see a much more confident, saltier bunch next year that has the time under their belt and now knows what they need to do in the offseason to get ready. They will a fun group to watch next year.

Your supreme leader is an idiot. For reasons unknown, once we started recording, I never thought to look over here. Too many hits to the head, as Mike might say.

Perhaps Kyle and Mike can answer here in this thread.

Trying to get to these between diaper changes...my daughter's, not mine.

Does Monan have an opinion on Eason's recruitment? View on how much OL can improve?

I think Eason is a real good QB and has the all the upsides to becoming a good college QB. It would a miracle if he choose UW. Most want to play as soon as possible. Not compete with Browning. Or risk sitting till he is done.

The OLine will improve with having another year of off season training. Mat drills and conditioning with the bulk of heaving weight room workouts will make them bigger, faster and stronger. This will help them for next year. And Since most of them are freshman Red shirt freshman and sophomores this time is greatly needed for them.

what year do you anticipate to be special, 2018?

I think 2017 will be the best Husky season in a long time. Most of the freshman O lineman will be JRs and Gaskin and Browing will be too! If they build them self in the 2 years the offense will be lights out! Pettis, Linus, Pounds will have also improved!

The defense will also be Primetime! The d front with Quals and Gaines should be complete dudes and and Azeem & Barlet at LB The DBs will be loaded with Jones, Baker, McIntosh, Turner and Gardenhire.

This is based on no one getting severely injured or leavening early and Pettersen putting up another year of improvement in 2016!
