Clearly, game over. Why even bother playing this apple cup? With those numbers UW has it in the bag.

    Just passing along some info.

I actually think the Cougs are a good team. But I wonder how much of that is a function of a fortuitous schedule.

Wouldn't the defense metrics get skewed after WSU scores a bunch of points on a team?

Not over the course of 10+ games, no

The cougs ARE a good team. They're definitely better than Washington.

    Irregardless, Washington wins this game.

The Cougs have a good offense ... but if there was a lesson to be learned from the Apple Cup last year or their game against Stanford this year it is that they are dependent upon some blown coverages, missed tackles, and overall skill advantage to score TDs once the field shortens. When they tend to face better defenses the inability to have a Plan B often leads to FGs, turnovers, or bad decisions by Leach forcing the action

WSU defense better than UW offense

We will know by mid way through the third quarter if we will win or not. Just see how brown Brownings socks look.

And UW's losses are to teams with offenses average ranking of 35. Soon to add #33 to the list.

The weather should be in the low to mid 40's which hurts WSU. Ideal passing weather is in the 60's and 70's so wouldn't be surprised if they are 0.5 ypa below their season average even if Falk starts.

If Falk starts, I hope Kawasaki sends Azeem on on a bonzai charge up the middle to land a big body blow and give Falk happy feet.

I like the Huskies and the under with Falk being doubtful and not feeling great about his dome if he does play.

You're on crack, which is whack.

Low-to-mid 40's definitely hurts the Husky WO's more than the Cougs. Heck, the game could be played in a dome under perfect conditions and...
