Notes from Chi Town

Had dinner with Al Capone last night. Offered him some tax advice and warned him that the IRS, which he hadn't heard of, was nothing to fool with. I offered him some tax shelters and investment advice.

Ran into my old friend Mike Ditka at Jordan's restaurant, I had played 27 holes with MJ, I like to call him MJ, earlier that day. I beat Ditka in arm wrestling, but I don't want that to leave this board out of respect for Mike.

I looked at the turf and am concerned about our speed, speed, speed, advantage Saturday. Going to try to get Field Turf, which I invented, installed by game time.

Had breakfast with Sark this morning. He told me he rebuffed the Bear's coaching job. Sark is confident but concerned about the youth of his team and Price's lack of time in the film room. Keith is well spoken but lacks some intangibles. All the idiots saying no more excuses need to understand that we have another decade's worth of excuses if we need them so they should shut up and listen to me.

This isn't a question, its a statement.

Great post, but one correction needed to be made.

You started bench pressing the moment you mentioned Al Capone. Then I just kept seeing rep after rep, finishing with a chest explosion.

In all seriousness, this is very well written. You captured the essence of his blustery nature.

Disagree, the Capone mention made the post great.

Ditka seems like the type of guy that would high hook ya in Indian Leg Wrestling instead of locking at the knees like you're supposed to.....
