And water being wet. The defense gave up another crucial touchdown drive late in the game to seal a loss. This defense isn't good. See Bama for what a good defense looks like.

Is it really THAT interesting to you to perseverate so motherfucking intensely on a point that is essentially semantic?

Okay, you don't like to use the word 'good' when it comes to Husky defense. You want to call it something else. You want to call Bama's D good. O-fucking-kay.

You do realize that these are just words, right? It's literally the dumbest fucking thing in the world for you to drone on about what 'good' or 'great' means to you. You have a million fucking poasts just saying that there is a word out there without an exact definition that is generally positively valenced and the way you define that word at any one moment doesn't apply to what you think of our defense. O-fucking-kay.

To be clear, I'm not discouraging you or anyone else from calling everything (including our D) shitty because most things actually suck. But Christ! almighty man.

If you're going to be an autistically fixated sandy vag one-note, at least be fucking funny a little bit.

You write a lot. Besides, haven't you been here long enough to know that I like telling everyone how right I always am?

Could we get @HeretoBeatmyMetrics to post how long the defense has been on the field in each game? As always, I'm too lazy to go back and look at all the games and the TOP of the opponents. I'll leave it to professionals.

The defense is good, not great. They are not world stoppers, but they do a good job. You can't have your defense stay on the field 75% of the time and expect them to stay fresh.

We actually won time of possession against ASU (and Utah), but that would be an excuse anyways. They weren't gassed. They just can win games for us when it matters. Same thing against Utah. They folded in the 4th during that game, too. Not a good defense.

Does it really matter how good a part of the team is when the team is losing?

The offense is still ass. They still have to score more than 17 points.

In any case, we? are fucked.

Avg Points Allowed Per Game (rounded):
    2015: 20
    2014: 25

    2013: 23
    2012: 24
    2011: 36
    2010: 30
    2009: 27

    http://www.cfbstats.com/2015/team/756/scoring/defense/split.html

Curious to see how these correlate to avg points scored for each year, but I'm lazy and stoopid.

Can we get those numbers for conference games?

The defense is having some issues but again this defense is young and still one of the better defenses in the conference

So what you're saying here is that they really aren't any different than Sark's defenses?

Defensive Avg Points Allowed/Game vs Conference:
    Pete: 23.5
    Sark: 27.8

4.3 point delta between the two coaches is actually very different; ~20% improvement. I'm a buyer.
