I'm switching gears from the drunken debacle of a football season and focusing on the next Husky disappointment in my life, Basketball.
I actually like this team with all the young guns. I'm sure Romar will let us down, and two of the guys will be overhyped failures that slip into obscurity by the time pac play arrives, but holding out hope that this group will actually have the athleticism to do real damage.
Romar has had frosh all-americans before and flopped, so I fully expect that trend to continue, but this squad on paper is probably a step above than anything he's had before. It's possible they do the job for him. And AA can score the.
Texas is loaded athletically so it's a perfect early season matchup to really see where the new guys are in relation to the talented elite.
