The hit that got a flag is hilarious. The ref thought anyone who got destroyed that bad had to be targeted. It wasn't, just a ferocious hitter.

And he celebrated the hit after seeing the flag, just terrific.79smoothdawg said:The hit that got a flag is hilarious. The ref thought anyone who got destroyed that bad had to be targeted. It wasn't, just a ferocious hitter.

He doesn't look that fast. Maybe more of a LB at the next level? Makes a lot of savvy plays around the line of scrimmage.
-
Geezus...dude is gonna kill himself.

Ivy League smarts and a hard worker. Obsessive gym rat.ToddTurnerLIVES said:He doesn't look that fast. Maybe more of a LB at the next level? Makes a lot of savvy plays around the line of scrimmage.

Coach on the field?
-
Great instincts.
A real gamer. -
The kind of kid you'd want your daughter to date. Also to tutor her in maff.
-
A real brainiac. A mathematician on the field. Plays with honor.
-
Unit, Core, God, Country. The kid has it down good.bananasnblondes said:A real brainiac. A mathematician on the field. Plays with honor.
-
A computer-like mind. Zen-like focus. No one out works him.
-
Not naturally talented but smart
-
I've watched this video several times and I can't help comparing his play to that of former Husky great Bruce Lee

Is Rapp capable of taking over the SS spot or what position does he project? Surprised to see Brian Clay was tied for 3rd on the team for tackles this season, and Zeke Turner seemed shaky.
-
I predict he will be starting at SS by the end of the year.digits said:Is Rapp capable of taking over the SS spot or what position does he project? Surprised to see Brian Clay was tied for 3rd on the team for tackles this season, and Zeke Turner seemed shaky.
He will also be ejected from 3 games in his career at UW. -
Is he cerebral?Dennis_DeYoung said:

Targeting, as it exists, is a travesty and is ruining college football. You can't have such an absolute rule when college football officiating is so notoriously poor, in all conferences. NCAA must add an appeals process at the very least.
-
He is my favorite recruit in this class.
-
No preparation can stop him, he forces himself on all opposition almost as if they were asking for it.

...and he doesn't ask for permission.

This kid is a straight up gangster. I finally got around to watching his tape and he is blowing people up everywhere. I fucking love the way he plays. He's exactly the type of kid UW needs to stop playing like pussies.
-
He's surprisingly athletic and unsurprisingly good at math!
-
Early enrollee too, gotta hope he's starting SS next to Buttah come season opener.
-
I doubt it. You got Buttah, McIntosh, Zeke Turner, Beaver, and Walker all returning at safety. If a true frosh is starting over all those guys for game 1, that's not a good thing. Rapp will likely get some time at special teams like Bartlett did this year and some mop-up play at safety.digits said:Early enrollee too, gotta hope he's starting SS next to Buttah come season opener.

Quite a few tr FR have come in and broke into the 2 deeps since Petersen has been here, although that was mostly by mere necessity.bananasnblondes said:

Either way, interesting. -
So many triggers.
So many microaggressions. -
It wouldn't surprise me at all to see him start.bananasnblondes said:

JoJo wasn't particularly impressive in the game and as @digits said, Pete has started TFr. a lot more than I would've predicted. With him coming in early, he'll have a whole off-season of weights to bulk up.
I think there's an 81% chance he starts by Pac-12 play.
Also: Zeke Turner sucks, Beaver sucks and Walker will probably LEAVE if he has a brain. The only guy we have at S is Buddah. McIntosh isn't amazing, but I think he'll be serviceable.
I think the rotation will be Buttah, RappCulture & McIntosh.
Also, the three things that this D needs to go to the next level is... 1. A punishing SS, 2. A pass rushing BUCK and 3. Good play on 3rd downs. -
As you said, McIntosh is already a perfectly adequate starting SS. He's also only in his second year and could very well turn into a key player on our defense. I don't see Rapp unseating him.Dennis_DeYoung said:
