Who do you want... and when I say 'want', I mean practical and likely to be an option. Why am I talking OC, because Pusserman won't go first.

What y'all think?

I'll toss a name in to spark it; Beau Baldwin Look what his teams do. HC experience, so he can override @TheChart, and hangs points on higher level/caliber teams. Could make the turn to getting into big time FB. Feel free to dispute, as I'd like to hear the dig against him, other than the fact that he was a former QB.

    Don't like pass first offenses. They are tougher to succeed
    in Husky Stadium unless you have a QB with a cannon arm.
    Give me a run oriented guy like Doug Ruse of Georgia

    I wonder if maybe we will get lucky again and someone will hire him away. Lots of job openings!

    On the OC front, I mean: get someone who runs the football successfully. Who fits that profile?

    I guess some people still haven't learned from the post-Nick Holt era that the assistants don't matter, only the head coach does. Petersen can fire Smith sure, but the offense will still suck because Petersen sucks. Do you think Smith is the one dragging Lindquist out there? Petersen is telling Smith to put Lindquist in the game because he's a captain and wants to hand out participation trophies.

    It would really suck if Lindquist ever got the Nancy Carrigan treatment.

    This. I actually think there is a greater than 50% chance Smith is gone after this year but that won't change anything. Change comes from within.
