    Season sucks, no doubt. But it sucks because a team we all knew wasn't going to do anything meaningful has been, surprisingly, close enough in enough games that people are pissed we aren't undefeated or have just one loss.

    And the losers lose mantra misses a key point. Pete is objectively a winner. As in, he has won more football games than basically any other coach.

    Which, again, if he can't turn Washington into a contender, no one can. So nut up, recognize that we have a true frosh QB, recognize that our good D basically brings everyone back and should be steller, and recognize that we should be favorites to win the north next year.

    Yes, next year. Sorry.

    It's because minus one game we have been competitive. And in that one game our backup QB started. Perhaps they have overachieved this year losing the nail bitters this year. Maybe if we have been plundered all year these losses would sting less.

    It's your right as a fan to be pissed off and want fire to the progrum, but just remember pals...this was a throw away year to start with.

    Saban wins at Washington. Meyer does, Harbaugh does, and a lot of coaches do. Those coaches aren't 4-5 right now. Maybe they aren't 8-1 either, but they aren't 4-5.
