I know you are being sarcastic, and insinuating that other Cal fans are not as demanding as you are and that they/we accept mediocrity, but the fact is that 7 wins IS a successful season here.
Do we want to build to something more? Of course we all would.
Are we happy with the losses the last three weeks? No.
But yes, for a team that is three seasons from 1-10 and for many other reasons beaten to death here on BI, yes 7 wins IS successful and it is not indication that the rest of us celebrate collective weakness and the acceptance of mediocrity. In fact, the opposite is true. Sarcastic statements like "seven wins is successful here", are unreasoned, malcontent pouts of petulance in the grand tradition of "I want an oompa loompa, NOW!"
