It's a given that Smith is canned at the end of the year. No way he keeps his job finishing last in this dreckfest league. I heard fucktards screaming Beau Baldwin which is a stretch but who else could you get?

    it's really hard to give a shit until things actually look like they're improving. Not sure I will be able to give a shit for a few more years anyway.

    I would agree with you.. but give me a list of people Pete has fired. I'm not sure he has ever fired anyone, and without someone making him accountable it probably won't happen. Nobody is holding Woodward accountable... so he won't hold Petersen accountable ... and Petersen won't hold Smiff accountable ... etc

    I hope I'm wrong because a deep depression is starting to set in for me. I thought we would eek out 6-6 this season... 5-7 looks wildly optimistic now. I don't see us doing better than 7-5 next season... its a nightmare and nobody who has the authority to do anything cares enough to do it.

    I hope I'm wrong....

    Petersen is too much of a pussy to fire him. Besides, like it has been mentioned 81 times on this bored, Smith is just doing Petersen's bidding. If CP didn't like the offensive philosophy, then he would have changed it by now.

    In any case, CP could surprise us by showing Smith the door. But, I'm afraid he'll just go out and make a lazy hire.

    This university is good at lazy hires... from university presidents to ADs to coaches.
