Cal has big money donors just like UW. We could make it happen, if there's enough steam behind it. I just don't think there's going to be any push from the administration because of the perceived "improvement" from 1-11. They think they need for it to be a slam-dunk before they go asking for buyout funding, and they probably rightly figure that on the way to 7-5 isn't a slam-dunk.
