Apologies if Already Mentioned but Kudos to Gary Anderson at OSU

Not happy with the awful offense through
6 games so is bringing in Gary Crowton to
work with the OC. Now I have no clue about
Crowton's abilities, but just the fact that a head
coach at midseason would say, "not good enough",
and bring in another set of eyes is extremely impressive
to me. You can't really fire an OC or install a new system
in season, but bringing someone in to smooth out the
rough edges shows me a coach who really wants to win.
Would Petersen do it? Don't know. But if it isn't at least under
consideration, we got the wrong guy.

Like I said, it's not about Gary Crowton, it's
about looking internally and saying we ain't
doing well enough, maybe we could use some help.
I doubt Petersen would bring in an outside set of
eyes during the season. He seems pretty set in his
ways. I'm just impressed that a coach like Anderson
who has a pretty good resume, is looking for any way
to increase his chance of winning.
