Really good show, despite all three hosts being on the verge of suicide.
What pisses me off is that we saw all the problems on offense last year and NOTHING was done to address them in the off season. And here we are going through this Groundhog Day shit all over again. It pisses me off.
Anyway, you guys have developed outstanding chemistry over time and the show is now at a high level. If your show was on the radio at a set time, I would organize my life to make sure I was able to hear it each week. It's that good.
One other thing that Roadie pointed out that really stuck with me. The self-defeatist comments that Petersen makes are NOT in the Don James mold of "Oh that other team is so good, it will take a full effort just to be competitive."
No, Petersen seems to put out these little comments intended to lower expectations. It is a pattern and it is subtle, but it is there. Just like with Woodward and his "incremental progress" bullshit.
I watched UW v Furd in Chicago 2 years ago. Not like we deserve any respect at this point but, the realization that, no wonder nobody knows who we are is because it's Fuxking midnight in the east when these 'evening' games are on.
Who the fuck wants to see this UW v Az shit let's go 8 o'clock. - Network
Great job by @HeretoBeatmyChest. You saved what could have been an ugly cast.
One point you brought up was spot on but didn't get much response. It had to do with HUNH. One thing the HUNH brings into play is little to no substitutions and little to no motion. It simplifies things, which is exactly what makes sense to me. @RoadDawg55 has harped on this, and IMO, he's spot on. Fuck the cute "package" substitutions. Line up and play. Unfortunately, Smith has some Sark in him and is more interested in calling brilliant plays than calling plays the current players can execute.
At the end of the day, it was entertaining. Thanks to all 3 of you for putting in the time.
- Gameday experience: For whatever reason, this game proved to be a turning point for me as a Husky Fan, and not in a good way. After I realized UW was not going to pound the rock, I lost most interest in the game, sat in my seat, and yelled "Targeting" after every tackle we made, shaking my head in disgust. I looked like a fukin' genius when Clay was called for it, others did not seemed as amused. It's a fucking travesty that there is no defensive stats board, GO HUSKIES! chant no longer exists, no more VW bug Husky helmet, music sucks, video on Husky tron sucks... the Husky Stadium that I grew to love and cherish exists no more. It's turned into the Safeco_FS of college football.
- Petersen: Early returns are not good. Appears UW hired another Boise CC bust. I think he is too stubborn to make the changes necessary to win @ UW. His way or the highway. Also, I'm shocked @ how overwhelmed and scared he looks on the sidelines during critical points in these games. When he told the crowd to quiet down when we were yelling because they were taking too much time off the clock?!?... fucking pathetic. Not sure he's cutout for this gig.
- 0regon: Passed the point of critical mass. One of these years, someone on the Husky team is going to have to nut up and make a play to end this misery. I firmly believe that it's more mental than anything @ this point... doesn't make it better, worse actually because this game was the most winnable against those Fucks in the past 15 years probably.
Arizona 2007 was it for me. The last game I attended. As I recall we blew a big lead late, kind of a Ty thing. I was probably the happiest Husky fan as we left that day. Couldn't stop smiling. Was sure they would fire the fuck.
An empty Husky Stadium is really the only way to get the attention of the university. But as long as the Marinerization of Husky Football continues, won't happen.

You think @Tequilla is a great poster.
I didn't want your respect anyway.
