So they're going to try to be another Esquire? It's not a bad idea considering that everyone gets their porn for free on their phone, but seems like a mistake to squander the brand equity.
I'm surprised anyone buys magazines at all anymore. But running numbers, if they get $4 a magazine, cost is $1.5 per to print and ship. That's still $24 million a year plus ad revenue to have staff and pay people to write shit. Not a bad business model even if subscribers are low.
